WHY IS FALL THE BEST TIME TO GO ON A FISHING TRIP?

We are now in the middle of the fall tourist season. This is the time when the holiday season and winter tourism season kick into full gear, especially for fishing charters.

September and October are quieter months. Tourists return home to start the school year. However, the snowbirds aren’t yet back in large numbers. So all you have is the year-round population, who aren’t likely to book their own fishing charters.

If you have some time this fall and are looking to escape, there is no better time than the fall to join us on a inshore fishing trip in Myrtle Beach.

THESE ARE JUST A FEW OF THE REASONS FALL IS THE BEST SEASON FOR FISHING TRIPS:

Booking is easy: There are fewer tourists in September and October so it’s easier to get booked for any day that you wish to be on the water. We are able to accommodate last-minute bookings even during slow seasons. If you are feeling like you want to go fishing in Myrtle Beach, book a charter the next day.

There are plenty of accommodations: If you’re travelling from outside of the city, it shouldn’t be a problem to find lodging. There are plenty of rooms in hotels and motels.

You will find more rooms available for AirBnB rental than usual. Also, the rates will be lower because it is the slow season. This means that you don’t need to be restricted in terms of where you can stay and you won’t have to worry about the best options being booked up far in advance.

Better weather: The place is known for its warm weather. You have a better chance of experiencing cooler and less humid weather in the fall and winter than during the summer. You don’t need to worry about the temperature of our boats.

However, it is something you should consider if you plan to spend a lot of time outdoors. It’s best to start your fishing trip in the morning so that you are finished before the afternoon heat and the popup storms set in.

Low competition: There’s less competition out there for fish in the fall months. This means that you’ll probably come home with a good haul of fish after your day on the boat.
